June 2014

In January JAM Environmental was not planning on significant growth in equipment, projects or revenues and we were looking forward to spending 2014 in deviling deeper into our core operations. Instead, the first six months saw us grow revenues 42% over last year, we purchased two more vacuum trucks including a Vactor 2100 mounted on a crew cab Stirling with a Roots 824 Blower and we acquired a 2,200 gallon Ford cab over vacuum truck with a drum deck, water reservoir and a high pressure and volume water blaster. We also expanded our service trucks with two F-350’s, two 2014 – F-250’s, several trailers and additional support equipment. We just completed a two month, 7 day a week 30,000 yard excavation utilizing a shaker screen to reuse the soil and a 6 acre dewatering system. Overall, an amazing start to the year.

January 2014

JAM Environmental had a Fast and Furious year of growth in 2013. We ended the year with 25 full time employees, 39 trucks/trailers and heavy equipment, revenue growth of 56% and most important – No Significant Lost Time Injuries. Our excavation and remediation crews dug 80,000 tons of material on various projects. We had several significant demolition projects, Industrial wastewater transportation and disposal projects and significant growth in the used oil division. Overall, 2013 was a Fantastic Year, thanks to our Employees and our Customers.

May 2013

JAM Environmental is pleased to announce our new HR Management and Employee Training System. Partnering with our payroll processing company JAM now has dedicated professional staff to handle all our Human Resource and related Legal Requirements. Additionally, we now have launched a fully on-line employee training system consisting of over 130 safety and health related programs. This will allow a smaller company like us to provide in-depth, professionally managed, regulatory compliant system that meets and exceeds industry standards. Our existing in-house system was effective and adequate however it required substantial in-house effort to maintain. Our new system after the initial investment of time and resources will allow us to quickly and accurately ensure the highest industry standards for Employee Training and Human Resources Support.

April 2013 – Biggest News Yet !
JAM Environmental & Vacuum Services is very excited to announce that Florida Power and Light Company awarded JAM the Primary Remediation Contract for the Port Everglades Power Center Re-construction Project. FPL is demolishing the oil / natural gas fired, 1,200 MW, four unit Port Everglades Plant and replacing them with new Combined Cycle Natural Gas Units that will provide 2,400 MW. The plant originally constructed in the late 1950’s and commissioned from 1961 to 1964 was the backbone of the FPL system for many decades; she reliably provided power until the very end of 2012. Our project will be to remediate the 90 acres of the No 6 oil tank farm and the power block. Additionally we will support the removal of the dedicated pipelines at the Port Everglades docks. Overall, this is the largest single contract in our short history and will require significant effort, growth and management to accomplish safely. We Accept and Look Forward to the Challenges of 2013 and 2014.

March 2013

JAM Environmental has purchased two new pieces of equipment. We now have a 6,000 gallon Vacuum Tanker equipped with a 633 vacuum / blower. The unit is completely self-sufficient as a standalone unit and makes JAM Environmental one of the few companies that can dedicate a Vacuum Tanker for our customer needs. Additionally, we added a dump trailer to support our excavation division. Suitable for smaller projects the unit will enable our crews to be a one-stop / in-house service for short jobs. Overall, JAM now fields a diverse fleet of 32 units consisting of Used Oil Collection Trucks, VacCon’s, Industrial Vacuum Loaders, Tankers, Tractors, flatbed and utility trailers, service trucks, utility trucks, excavators and one pontoon boat for on water support.

We have now added an additional 3,000 ft-2 of warehouse space in Bldg 5 – C which is only accessible from within our completed 10’ walled parking. We now have ¾ acre of parking and 9,000 ft-2 of warehouse.

December 2012 / January 2013

JAM Environmental is pleased to announce an Excellent year for 2012. We are 100% Injury Free with no reportable events and a clean driving history. We estimate our trucks covered a total of 750,000 miles in providing Superior Customer Service and performing without serious injuries or accidents. JAM Environmental employed as many as 20 employees in 2012, had solid income growth exceeding goals, 28 trucks, trailers, excavators and other pieces of heavy equipment. We continue to be cash flow positive and debt free. We thank all our Employees and their Families for an Excellent Year. Our Appreciation for our Customers is boundless. Thank you for 2012 and we look forward to a Great 2013.

February 2012

JAM Environmental is excited to announce that Sean Hagerott, formerly Area General Manager for SWS Environmental – Southeast Florida has joined Maria Laboy and Jack McCully as a partner. Sean new position is Vice President of Operations and be in charge of daily environmental services. Sean has been a friend, co-worker and competitor since 1991 when we worked on the oil spill response from Hurricane Andrew at the FPL Turkey Point Power Plant. Over the years Sean has advanced as one of the industries very best in a wide range of ER’s and in industrial services. We are very excited about his decision to join the JAM Environmental family. December 2011 / January 2012

JAM Environmental is excited to report that 2011 was our best year in terms of growth, income, customer satisfaction and most importantly – a Clean Safety Record. We closed 2011 and opened 2012 with 10 full time employees, 18 trucks or trailers. Our income growth over the past 3 years has been over 400% and we are still debt free. Thank you to all of our loyal customers and employees for having a Safe 2011 we look forward to an exciting 2012.

April, 2011

JAM Environmental & Vacuum Services is pleased to announce we are relocating. Our new home is at 228, SW 21st Terrace – Bldg 6, Fort Lauderdale 33312. This is a substantial charge as we now have a 6,000 ft-2 warehouses with 1,500 ft-2 offices expandable on the second floor for an additional 1,200 ft-2 for growth. Our new location has 21,000 ft-2 of secure parking and direct access to the CSX Rail Team Operations Track in front of our building. We are directly on I-95 just south of Broward Boulevard and the Amtrac / Tri Rail Station. Over the course of the next year we will be adding a 10’ wall with full yard lighting and security system.
